Non-Waxed Classic Shop Apron
Our Non-Waxed canvas is a 10 oz. 100% cotton material that breathes well and moves with you. In order to provide a little more protection our non-waxed canvas is double layered, still retaining it's flexibility while offering a ruggedness that's required amongst the craftsman's tools of the trade.

Our Classic Aprons were designed with the needs of the craftsman in mind. The durable material moves freely with your body, held in place with leather straps that cross over the shoulders, eliminating the neck fatigue commonly experienced with around the neck straps. The straps are secured to the apron body with hand hammered copper rivets, a time honored technique that is also utilized on all stress points on the pockets. Double stitched seams are not only aesthetically pleasing, they are well suited to withstanding the daily rigors of shop life. Available in both waxed and non-waxed canvas, the numerous color options and pocket configurations allow you to pick the apron that suits you best. Don't be boxed in by limited choices elsewhere. The shop apron is one of the most used items in a shop, you should be able to have one that meets your every need.
POCKET CHOICES
What really sets our aprons apart from the rest is the ability to choose from several different pocket types. Not all craftsmen are the same. Some prefer mechanical pencils, some wooden. Some are strict handtool enthusiasts, others are power tools all the way. We have three Chest pocket and three Lower pocket styles available, allowing you to customize your apron to your exact needs.
The Chest pocket comes in three different versions, Full, Graduated, and Utility. The Full Chest pocket has three slots that are all 5" deep, perfect for metal rules and mechanical pencils. If you prefer using wooden pencils, then the Graduated chest pocket is for you. With three slots tapering in height from 5" to 3", you won't lose your pencil when it gets sharpened down to a nub. Our Utility chest pocket was designed for the more modern craftsman who utilizes their smartphone daily for time sheets, emails, etc. It has a main pocket that is 3.25" wide and 4" deep, along with four slots that range in height from 4" to 3".
The Lower pockets on our Classic Aprons come in three different versions as well. For all around use, our All-Purpose pocket is right for you. Spanning the width of the apron, it is divided into three large pockets, providing ample storage for tools and other items. If you work up next to a workbench or table, our next two pocket choices are tailored towards you. The Open and Closed pockets are situated towards the sides of the apron, leaving the front of the apron open and free of bulky items. This allows you to work up close to your bench without any obstructions in front. The Open pockets feature a sloped opening, providing easy access at all times. If you are a woodturner, or someone who happens to always be covered in sawdust, our Closed pockets are the perfect choice. Flaps above each pocket keep unwanted debris from entering.
DOUBLE STITCHING AND RIVETS
Our aprons are meant to hold up to a lot of abuse. In order to achieve this, all of our seams are double stitched and each stress point is reinforced with a hand peened cooper rivet. The copper rivets can be finished in one of two ways, smooth or hammered. The smooth finish is nice and clean, just like on a sturdy pair of jeans. The hammered finish is done by hand with a custom made ball peen hammer. It adds a rustic aesthetic to the apron. There is no benefit in terms of strength, both methods are equally strong.
SIZING INFO
Our aprons are currently available in two sizes, Regular and Extra Large. All of the leather straps are fully adjustable, providing the best fit possible at all times. Custom sizing is available, contact us for further info.
The Regular apron will fit 80% of the body types out there. It easily adjusts to fit people up to 6'2" in height, with up to a 52 inch chest. If you are above 6'2", or have a 52 inch or larger chest, then the Extra Large will be the best fit for you.
If you feel that a longer than normal waist strap may be needed, don't hesitate to mention it when placing your order. A longer strap can be added at no additional charge when making your apron.
***Due to popular demand, we have added a wide chest (bib) option to all of our aprons at no additional cost! Some people have broader shoulders, wider chests, or fuller figures than others. Our wide bib option increases the width at the top of the apron, resulting in greater coverage across the chest.
EMBROIDERY AND CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS
We offer embroidery on our Classic Aprons, Nail Aprons, and tool rolls. Adding a name, monogram, or simple text is an additional $10. Logos are an extra $25. Once your package ships we will send you a notification email. In stock items will still ship in 1-3 business days. Due to the small batch sizes that we are limited to and the large number of current orders, all other orders will take 10+ weeks at this time.
